Martin is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia and has practised exclusively in commercial litigation since 2000.

Martin is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and acts in all types of commercial disputes. Martin can provide specialised services in matters involving all forms of construction disputes and has assisted many local and national property developers, sub-contractors and home owners in resolving building contract issues. Martin also has vast experience in body corporate and corporation matters, having advised numerous body corporate managers and committees as well as company directors and other officers about commercial risks and associated disputes.

Martin holds a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property Law and has gained experience in many forms of intellectual property disputes including trademarks, copyright and confidential information. Martin spent a number of years working in London within the financial services sector. During this time Martin gained extensive experience with a variety of banking, investment and financial disputes. Martin has also acted in a number of complex taxation disputes regarding the application of the Goods and Services Tax.

As an experienced commercial litigation specialist, Martin has extensive knowledge of the processes of the Courts and can employ well developed strategies with a view to assisting his clients in minimising the risk, cost and delay associated with a dispute whilst maximising potential returns.

Martin has been appointed to the Queensland Law Society Rules Committee and enjoys working with leaders in the industry to develop the rules and processes applicable to litigation in Queensland.
